Job Description:
At Year Up, we are dedicated to closing the opportunity divide

personal potential. We are currently offering a unique Sales
Fundamentals Career Training Opportunity within our comprehensive
one-year program that blends academic learning with real world
professional experiences. This program is designed to equip
participants with essential sales skills and the practical
experience needed to advance in todays dynamic job market. It
includes structured coursework, hands-on internship opportunities,
and personalized mentorship. Complete all assigned coursework in
sales fundamentals, including market research, customer
relationship management, and persuasive communication. Participate
actively in workshops and role-playing scenarios to enhance sales
techniques and strategies. Engage in a six-month internship with a
corporate partner to gain practical sales experience. Attend
regular mentoring sessions and career coaching to develop
professional skills and career pathways. Collaborate with peers to
complete projects and participate in team selling opportunities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to understand
and analyze sales data Proficiency in customer relationship
management (CRM) software Strong problem-solving skills and
adaptability Ability to work both independently and as part of a
team Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Preferred:
Certifications from recognized sales training programs (e.g.,
Certified Professional Sales Person (CPSP), Certified Sales
Leadership Professional (CSLP)) Completion of Year Up’s Sales
Training Program qualifies participants for various entry-level
sales positions and contributes to ongoing professional
development.
