Description: Butternut Mountain Farm is a Vermont, family-owned, second-generation company and one of the largest packers of pure maple syrup in the country. We're looking for energetic, detail-oriented individuals to join our team as a Equipment Washer. If you enjoy a fast-paced, physically active job where cleanliness and organization matter, this might be the perfect fit for you. Starting Rate $20.00/hour.What You'll Do

• Wash and sanitize empty maple syrup barrels to maintain high-quality standards.
• Operate barrel washing and sweet water recovery equipment (training provided).
• Keep accurate records of washed barrels and maintain an organized storage area.
• Move individual barrels using a barrel cart and organize pallets of barrels using forklifts or pallet jacks (forklift experience is a plus, but we'll train the right person).
• Use basic computer skills to track inventory and ensure everything is properly recorded.
• Identify and report any food safety concerns related to barrel sanitation.
• Become part of a rotation with the other production team members in our Maple Syrup packaging area.Requirements: What We're Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail - cleanliness and accuracy are key in this role.
  • Forklift experience is a plus, but we will train motivated individuals.
  • Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs and frequently lift 35 lbs at or near head height.
