Job Description:
Independently licensed Psychiatric Clinicians (LICSW, PsyD, PhD,
EdD or APRN) will complete evaluations, crisis stabilization and
level of care assessments - providing clinical consultation and
recommendations for patients who present in the emergency
department and or inpatient unit setting. This position requires a
strong clinical emphasis in assessment and evaluation and a
familiarity with area services across all levels of care.If you are

Hospital Psychiatric Clinicians will complete level of care
assessments and provide recommendations for patients who present to
an emergency department and/or medical inpatient unit of a
contracted hospital per the specifications of each individual
service contract. This position requires a strong clinical emphasis
in assessment and evaluation and a familiarity with area services
available within all levels of care. Employment at McLean Hospital
is contingent upon a successful CORI (Criminal Background Check),
National Background Check and clearance from the Occupational
Health Department. Massachusetts Independent Clinical License
Required:Social Work: LICSWPsychology: Licensed
PsychologistNursing: RN/CS or RN/NP in Psychiatric Mental Health
Education Psychology: Ph.D., Psy.D or EdD Nursing: MSN in
Psychiatric Mental Health Experience Minimum of two years post
degree experience in conducting comprehensive psychiatric
evaluations. Experience in crisis and/or emergency clinical
settings preferred. Experience in a managed care environment and
the capacity to work collaboratively with managed care
organizations. Experience working collaboratively with
multidisciplinary staff within the context of the emergency
department and the community at large. Successful candidate must
possess basic computer skills in order to use a variety of
electronic systems to access and/or maintain personal
employment-related data, satisfy required annual trainings, and use
job-specific applications. All employees of McLean Hospital are
