Are you ready to realize your potential? The Position This individual is responsible for calibration of measuring equipment in accordance with written procedures. Ensures all calibrations and documentation are in accordance with cGMP, NNUSBPI, and corporate guidelines. This role will require clean room gowning to perform work in our sterile manufacturing areas. This is an onsite based role Monday-Friday at our West Lebanon, NH bio-production facility. Relationships Reports to: Metrology Supervisor Essential Functions Performs testing and calibration of production equipment and measurement standards across multiple measurement disciplines, in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures Maintain documentation and (Regulatory Asset Manager/RAM) database pertaining to calibration activities Completes required documentation in a manner compliant with all regulatory standards Assist plant personnel with troubleshooting and repair of production, laboratory, utility systems and equipment Accurately performs mathematical calculations relating to calibrations Performs all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant and ethical manner and in accordance with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations and industry codes Incorporates the Novo Nordisk Way and 10 Essentials in all activities and interactions with others Other duties as assigned Qualifications Education and Certifications Associates Degree in relevant field or equivalent military training or industrial training which includes an understanding of metrology, instrumentation and controls required Work Experience One (1) year experience with electronics calibration, troubleshooting or repair experience required Experience working within a cGMP environment is preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Basic computer skills preferred Basic math skills preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills required Demonstrated ability to work with a team Technical Aptitude of electronics and/or mechanics is a plus Physical Requirements 0-10% overnight travel required. The ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, and walk. The ability to push, pull, lift, finger, feel, and grasp. The ability to speak, listen, and understand verbal and written communication. Repetition including substantial movement of wrists, hands, and or fingers. Lifting up to 33lbs/15kg of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Visual acuity to perform close activities such as: reading, writing, and analysing; and to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations. The working environment includes a variety of physical conditions including: noise, vibration, inside and outside conditions including temperature changes, extreme cold, and extreme heat; proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.
