Job Details Job Details: Are you passionate about ensuring the highest standards of quality in the food manufacturing industry? Do you want to make a real difference by ensuring that our products meet and exceed the stringent quality standards required? If so, then we have the perfect opportunity for you! We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for overseeing our quality assurance department and ensuring that our food products are safe and meet both our internal and external requirements. Responsibilities: As the Quality Assurance Supervisor, your primary responsibilities will include: 1. Supervising the daily activities of the quality assurance team and ensuring that all tasks are performed to the highest standard. 2. Developing, implementing, and maintaining the company's food safety and quality programs. 3. Conducting regular audits and inspections to ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with local, state, and federal food safety regulations. 4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify potential quality issues and develop effective solutions. 5. Training and mentoring quality assurance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively. 6. Investigating customer complaints and non-conformance issues, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. 7. Reviewing and updating standard operating procedures and quality assurance manuals to reflect current best practices. 8. Reporting on the performance of the quality system for review and as a basis for improvement. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Quality Assurance Supervisor role will have the following qualifications: 1. A Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality assurance role in the food manufacturing industry. 3. Comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations and quality assurance principles. 4. Proven experience in developing and implementing food safety and quality programs. 5. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team. 6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions quickly. 7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to a variety of audiences. 8. Proficiency in using quality assurance software and other related tools. 9. Certification in Quality Control is a plus.
