Job Description:
Clean Harbors, a leader in environmental and industrial services
across North America, is seeking a dedicated Class A Dry Driver to
join our transportation team. In this role, you will be
instrumental in supporting our commitment to sustainability and
safety by ensuring the efficient and secure transportation of
hazardous and non-hazardous waste. Our drivers play a vital role in
our mission to protect the environment through responsible disposal
and management practices. As a member of our team, you will be
operating modern, well-maintained vehicles, adhering to all
regulatory and company policies, and contributing directly to a
safer and cleaner environment. Operate Class A vehicles following
all legal and company regulations. Transport hazardous and
non-hazardous waste while maintaining clean and safe conditions.
Complete daily logs and reports, including duty status and vehicle
inspections. Adhere to company policies and procedures associated
with load pickup and delivery schedules. Engage in a thorough
pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring that
mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment are in good working
order. Respond to client requests and emergencies on-route,
providing customer-oriented solutions. Maintain communication with
dispatch and respond to changes in schedules or routes as required.
Strong navigation and driving skills. Knowledge of hazardous
materials regulations (HazMat). Excellent organizational and
communication skills. Ability to maintain accurate logs and
records. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s
License (CDL) with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
