Job Description:
Year Up is seeking a Business Foundations Career Training
Program Coordinator to join our mission-driven organization. This
role is pivotal in bridging the opportunity gap for young adults.
The program coordinator will oversee the planning, execution, and
evaluation of our one-year intensive training program that combines
essential business academics with real-world internship
experiences. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education
equity and have a robust understanding of business concepts and
administrative skills. This position requires a proactive and
organized individual who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously
and foster a collaborative environment for students and staff.
Develop and implement curriculum and educational materials for the
Business Foundations program. Coordinate with corporate partners to
secure internship placements and engagement opportunities. Lead
recruitment and selection of program participants. Monitor and
report on the progress of participants, providing support and
guidance to ensure their success. Manage partnerships with
educational and corporate entities to enhance program offerings.
Organize workshops, seminars, and other educational activities.
Assess the effectiveness of the training programs and make
improvements as needed. Strong understanding of business principles
and management. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Experience in program development and administration. Ability to
work with diverse populations and stakeholders. Proficient in data
analysis and performance metrics. Additional certifications in
Project Management or Educational Curriculum Design are preferred
but not mandatory.
