is seeking a passionate and strategic leader for the role of
Director, Dermatology Strategy and Education. This position is
integral to the successful launch and growth of a new product
within the Dermatology Franchise. You will champion Takeda’s
culture, values, and mission, leading high-impact initiatives in
disease awareness, competitive readiness, and peer-to-peer
engagement. As a key member of the Dermatology team, you will
oversee educational programs and strategic projects aimed at
empowering healthcare professionals (HCPs) and enhancing patient
care, including a disease state awareness campaign, competitive
readiness and response strategy, peer-to-peer strategy and
execution, advisory board management, congress strategy and
execution, and speaker bureau management. You will have the

contribute: People Leadership: Build a new, dynamic team of
marketers Lead and inspire a team of marketers to drive strategic
objectives and fostering a collaborative team environment. Focus on

core values and mission. Build Disease State Awareness Campaign:
Lead and execute comprehensive disease state awareness campaigns
that promote understanding of psoriasis and its impact on patients.
Partner with cross-functional teams and external agencies to
develop compelling educational content, digital materials, and
engaging communication strategies. Continuously monitor the
effectiveness of campaigns, and refine strategies based on market
feedback and emerging healthcare trends. Competitive Readiness &
Response Strategy: Design and implement competitive readiness
strategies to ensure Takeda’s swift and effective response to
market shifts and competitor actions. Develop and maintain
competitive intelligence frameworks, equipping the team with the
insights necessary to stay ahead of evolving market dynamics.
Proactively identify competitive threats and opportunities and
adapt strategies to capitalize on the changing landscape.
Peer-to-Peer Strategy & Execution: Establish and execute
Dermatology Franchise peer-to-peer engagement strategy that
effectively engages HCPs and contributes to brand growth. Oversee
the development and production of peer-to-peer promotional
materials, ensuring they are scientifically accurate, compliant,
and aligned with the overall brand strategy. Develop robust
assessments for peer-to-peer projects and tactics, measuring
effectiveness using research, analytics, and return on investment
(ROI) evaluations. Advisory Board Management: Lead and facilitate
advisory board meetings to gather critical insights on market
needs, patient experiences, and the evolving treatment landscape.
Synthesize insights into actionable strategies that inform the
broader Dermatology Franchise objectives. Ensure advisory boards
align with Takeda’s goals and provide continuous strategic input
for product development. Congress Strategy & Execution: Shape and
implement the congress strategy to ensure Takeda has a prominent
presence at key industry congresses, medical meetings, and
scientific conferences. Work collaboratively with cross-functional
teams and external partners to develop impactful presentations,
posters, and educational materials. Oversee logistics and
coordination of congress activities, including sponsorships,
speaker programs, and booth activities. Speaker Bureau Management:
Manage and optimize the HCP Speaker Bureau program by identifying,
recruiting, and training high-impact speakers. Oversee the
execution of speaker programs, ensuring content delivery aligns
with Takeda’s strategic priorities and brand messaging. Evaluate
and optimize speaker programs to ensure they remain relevant and
impactful for the target HCP audience. Budget Management: Oversee
the budgeting and financial management for Dermatology Strategy and
Education programs, ensuring adherence to the annual plan and
budget forecasts. Analyze spending trends, forecast future budgets,
and optimize resource allocation to maximize program effectiveness.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of accruals and budget
performance, identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: Required Bachelor’s degree 10
years of marketing, sales or related function experience in the
pharmaceutical industry with previous experience in leadership
level positions with increasing responsibilities Demonstrated
ability to manage a team, positively influence coworkers toward
common goals, foster collaboration, and enable teamwork Extensive
experience in both marketing strategy, vision, design and execution
Ability to understand and leverage research and analytics to drive
decision making Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated
capacity for people development Exceptional communication and
interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and
influence internal teams, external partners, and key stakeholders.
Strategic thinking with a strong ability to assess the competitive
landscape and leverage insights for market positioning and
innovation. High-level project management skills, including the
ability to manage multiple, complex initiatives concurrently while
maintaining attention to detail. Budgeting – Ability to create and
maintain an accurate budget for department expenses Preferred MBA
Commercial pharma experience in Psoriasis, including an in-depth
understanding of the disease state, treatment paradigms, and future
trends Proven success launching new product in the autoimmune
space. Proven track record in marketing innovation Takeda
Compensation and Benefits Summary We understand compensation is an

MA U.S. Base Salary Range: $174,500.00 - $274,230.00 The estimated
salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The
actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors,
including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the
position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills,
level of education attained, certifications or other professional
licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or
from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary
offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage
requirements for the job location. U.S. based employees may be
eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based
