Job Description:
Join Our Dynamic Vascular Access Team as an RN Job Description:
- Position: Vascular Access Team RN - Schedule: 12-hour shifts,
rotating days and nights - Flexibility: Primarily days, but must be
open to night rotations as needed - Weekends: Every other weekend
required - Rotation: One week of nights followed by a week of days;
may include mid-week rotations - Team Objective: Fill critical
vacancies with skilled travelers Candidate Requirements: -
Certifications: - BLS required - AVA Certified preferred (not
mandatory for placement) - Experience: - 2 years in specialty
nursing - Large trauma level 1 experience within the last year -
Prior travel experience preferred - Skills: - Strong IV skills
needed - Epic experience within the past 2 years (non-negotiable) -
Ability to assess and manage PICC lines, including dressing changes
and TPA administration - Proficient in placing and troubleshooting
PIVs and PICCs - Familiarity with accessing and flushing ports
Additional Information: - Orientation: Bi-weekly orientations on
Monday; next available is 4/6 - Travel: Reliable personal or rental
vehicle strongly recommended - Transportation Note: Public
transportation is not accessible; all-season or snow tires are
advised from November - April - Employment Gaps: Any gaps over 90
days must be explained - Work History: Complete and detailed
