qualified Med/Surg RN in Lebanon, New Hampshire, 03756! Pay
Information $2,760 per week About The Position Job Title: MedSurg
Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical /
Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 11.5 hours Hours per Shift:
19:00-07:00 Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years of recent experience
in a similar setting License: NH RN License or Compact License
(Proof of State Residency Required) Certifications: BLS Must-Have:
- Experience with chest tubes - Experience with tubing and drips
such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone - Care
and maintenance of central lines as well as blood draws -
Experience with lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients
- Experience with trachs and laryngectomies - Familiarity with
telemetry and complex wounds Description: A MedSurg RN is needed
for an upcoming position. The unit cares primarily for trauma
patients and acute care surgical patients. This is a busy unit
focused on rehabilitating and supporting patients. Common diagnoses
include spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and
orthopedic injuries. Acute care surgical diagnoses include hernia
repair, small bowel obstructions, appendectomy, and
cholecystectomy. Travelers should have experience in a fast-paced
medical surgical unit, preferably with Level I Trauma center
experience. A Level II Trauma center experience may also be
acceptable. Patient-to-nurse ratios are typically 1:4 during the
day and 1:5 at night. There are additional support staff available
