Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Medical Assistant - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract Medical Assistant – Boston, MA Contract Length: 13 Weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week Shift: Day Shift – 8:00 AM start Note: Only accepting local candidates. Requirements: - Vaccination: COVID vaccine series booster required at time of submission - Education: - High school diploma or equivalent - Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant (MA) program or certification required - BLS/CPR certification required - Experience: - 1–3 years in a medical office setting - EPIC experience preferred Job Duties: - Rooming patients - Taking vitals and performing EKGs - Waived testing - Prescription refills - Answering phone calls - Scheduling appointments Note: “We are an equal opportunity employer.
