Job Description:
The Respiratory Care Practitioner provides safe, efficient
respiratory services under clinical supervision, evaluating,
treating, and managing patients of all ages with cardiopulmonary
disorders in various settings.
Responsibilities include developing care plans, initiating and
adjusting therapies, participating in emergency responses, and
educating patients and families.
Ensures proper documentation, equipment operation, and
communication with team members, adhering to safety and infection
control standards.
Qualifications require an associate degree, active North Carolina
licensure, RRT or eligible status, BLS, ACLS, and 0-3 years of
experience. Additional certifications like PALS and NRP may be
required based on the department.
