Sturdy Memorial Hospital is seeking a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our well-established team located in Attleboro, MA.

About the job:

• Overnight ICU support (cross coverage of 8-12 ICU patients, triage and admission of new ICU patients, typically 1-3 per night)
• Procedures for ICU and medical floor patients (central lines, dialysis catheters, intubations, paracentesis, arterial lines)
• Collaborate closely with the critical care attendings
• Increase communication within the hospital
• Help provide safe staffing ratios in the ICU
• Perform needed procedures in the hospital
• Work cross-functionally with other medical and surgical specialties
• Grow as a clinician as you learn from new colleagues
• Patient-centric mindset to provide the highest-quality service and patient care
• Full-time schedule preferred
  Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited and/or approved Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant, in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, or ability to obtain
  • Must have or eligible for, and maintain, a current DEA registration and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration
  • Current certification in CPR required
  • Requires a minimum of 1 to 2 years' experience in critical care and/or pulmonary medicine as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
