In this role you will work with cross-functional teams and the production floor to improve manufacturing processes and products to meet customers requirements. You will also provide troubleshooting guidance to resolve process issues. This role is fully on-site and the company is open to relocating candidates. Client DetailsMy client is an innovative and sustainable plastics company that has a comprehensive portfolio of products providing packaging and storage solutions for their clients. DescriptionIn this role you will report into the Director of Engineering and be responsible for:

Installation of new lines of extruders
Maintain safety, product quality/yield and manufacturing effectiveness through daily troubleshooting and problem solving of issues that may arise
Collect production data and analyze, document, and diagram production processes
Optimize manufacturing processes to be cost effective and improve production performance
Document SOP's and other requirements for repeatable processes and standard work
When needed, provide off-hours support of abnormal and non-routine operationsApply today for immediate consideration! Profile
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Technical Degree
- Minimum 7 years of experience in manufacturing and polymer extrusion
- Self-driven, independently minded
- Is comfortable being out on the manufacturing floor with extruders
- Has experience successfully installing a lineJob Offer
