Job Summary Our client in the Attleboro area is looking to add an experienced Quality Engineer to their growing team. Candidates interested should have a BS in an engineering discipline (equivalent experience in a quality role is also acceptable) and at leat five years of experience. Thank you. location: ATTLEBORO, Massachusetts job type: Permanent salary: $75,000 - 80,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors Responsibilities As the Quality Engineer you will: Collect, analyze, and summarize data in order to drive continuous improvement. Develop & analyze data to support the development of new product specifications. Follow the APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process). Conduct First Article Inspections (FAIs). Using new product specifications, develop a method to assess new product quality & reliability prior to production release. Maintain Calibration and Measurement systems used to assess product quality. Ensure Customer Complaints are addressed, resolved, and communicated to the customer meeting customer and company timelines. Maintain Corrective and Preventative Action (CPAR) process to ensure Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and identified solution is in place and effective. Ensure Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCAR) are effective and resolved in a timely manner. Provide and oversee Inspection activities for products throughout production cycle. Collaborate with Department Managers to maintain, create & revise QMS documentation as necessary to maintain ISO 9001 registration. Maintain the QMS documentation Document Change Order (DCO) process. Complete any Customer or 3rd Party Audit Corrective Action Requests in a timely manner. Conduct Supplier and / or Internal Audits as needed. Ensure effective communication of company Quality Policy to all personnel within company. Develop and implement Quality Training programs. Develop and implement Supplier Score Cards with Purchasing Participate in MRB meetings and product dispositions. Complete customer compliance requests. Provide Quality Engineering support for all iAutomation facilities as needed. Travel up to 5%.
