Cumberland Farms, known affectionately as 'Cumby's', invites applications for the position of General Maintenance Technician. This role is pivotal in maintaining the operational efficiency and aesthetic appeal of our modern convenience stores. Our technicians play a crucial role in ensuring all mechanical systems, from climate controls to food service equipment, operate at optimal levels, directly impacting our commitment to customer convenience. Perform routine maintenance tasks throughout the facility including HVAC, electrical systems, and plumbing Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair malfunctions in the systems and equipment Conduct regular safety checks on all store equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and enhancements Assist in store renovation projects to upgrade infrastructure and aesthetics Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed and parts utilized Provide emergency on-call support for any issues that arise outside of normal business hours Proficiency in handling various maintenance equipment and tools Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good physical condition and ability to manage manual labor tasks Excellent time management and prioritization skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance 401k HVAC certification (preferred) Electrician's license or plumbing certification (a plus)
