Kingsbury Companies, LLC is seeking a Heavy Civil Construction Foreman to act as the key point of contact between the Superintendent and the crew! 3 plus years of experience in construction leadership Benefits Pay 25hr – 35hr overtime after 40 hours Vehicle Allowance & Fuel Card Daily Per Diem when traveling Shifts: M-F working 40-50hr hours per week, some nights, weekends, and extended hours may be required as necessary Healthcare, Vision, Dental, Disability, Life Insurance 401k with up to 5% match Paid Time Off and Holidays Tuition Reimbursement: Kingsbury will reimburse up to $1,000.00 a year for furthering your education. Kingsbury Companies will reimburse an employee up to $500.00 per calendar year for health and wellness costs Key Responsibilities: Act as a competent person for on-site operations, including scheduling, direction of work crews, equipment, subcontractors, materials, and procurement of necessary items. Construct projects in compliance with construction plans, codes, and specifications. Review and follow proposals, estimates, plans, specifications, and related documents. Maintain daily communication with the Superintendent and Project Managers regarding job-specific needs, including workforce and equipment requirements. Enforce all applicable safety precautions and programs, ensuring adherence to OSHA requirements in the construction industry. Mentor, coach and train staff to ensure efficiency and improve capability and workforce readiness Monitor subcontractors to ensure compliance with safety policies and OSHA regulations. Uphold quality control standards and conduct daily job hazard analyses and logs, documenting field operations. Adhere to three-week project schedules and provide weekly updates to the Superintendent and Project Managers. Oversee assigned projects, utilizing assigned laborers, equipment operators, subcontractors, and tradespeople. Adhere to construction schedules to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Conduct daily inspections of workers and evaluate their performance. Ensure a competent person is always on the job site. Attend training and off-site meetings as necessary. Manage material delivery status, order materials, and receive deliveries. Requirements: 3 plus years of experience in construction leadership Excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities. Capability to review, understand, and interpret blueprints. Demonstrate general knowledge of heavy equipment operation, vertical construction, pipelaying, and concrete work. Physical capability to work in various positions, including sitting, standing, kneeling, squatting, walking, and driving. Ability to lift, carry, or move objects weighing 50 pounds or more. Travel and Additional Requirements: Travel to Kingsbury job sites within VT, NH, NY region with additional travel as necessary OSHA 10 certification upon start date and OSHA 30 certification required within 90 days of start date. ?
