Job Description:
Staff Accountant Title: Staff Accountant Location: New Haven
Salary: $65-70k Why This Staff Accountant Opportunity? Hybrid work
schedule - 4 days on-site. 401k with a 3% match. Annual merit

touch different areas - everyone here is a team player. Core
working hours are between 8:00-5:30pm with some flexibility to
start later. Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant: Uses
accounting processes to obtain accounting data from various sources
for posting to the general ledger in an efficient, accurate, and
timely manner. Documents and communicates processes and monitors
performance of processes Assists in the preparation and submission
of accurate and timely fiscal reports, budgets, and related
drawdowns/invoices to agency funders Responsible for calculating,
recording, and maintaining the Agency's drawdown documentation for
federal programs. Responds to independent & funder auditor
activities supplying information requested by auditors in an
accurate and timely manner Prepares account analyses, for review
and discussion with appropriate staff and/or funders Prepares and
submits invoices for billing of VA programs. Manages, updates, and
reconcile contribution spreadsheets to donor perfect database on a
monthly basis. Other related duties as assigned Preferred
Qualifications of the Staff Accountant: Bachelor's degree in
accounting or finance with a minimum of two years' relevant
experience Ability to work with team members. Excellent
