As a Project Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of our construction projects. Provide regular reports on job cost performance to management and project teams.3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of project budgets and forecasts. Monitor project expenses and revenue projections, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints. Identify and communicate potential risks or opportunities that may impact project profitability.4. Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis of construction projects, including revenue recognition, profitability analysis, and cash flow projections. Provide insights and recommendations to improve project financial performance.5. Contract Management: Review and analyze construction contracts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and project requirements. Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to negotiate favorable terms and conditions. Track and report on contract milestones and deliverables.6. Cost Control: Implement effective cost control measures to minimize project expenses and maximize profitability. Monitor and analyze project costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing appropriate strategies.7. Audit Support: Collaborate with internal and external auditors during project audits.
